Marcia Gay Harden
Marcia Gay Harden is the third of the five brothers born in La Jolla on 14 August 1959. Her mother, Beverly (Bushfield) she was a homemaker, and her father, Thad Harold Harden, served in the military. The family relocated often -She first began to be interested with theatre when the family lived in Greece and she seen plays in Athens. Harden attended American Universities in Europe but returned to the US in 1983 and completed her education at the University of Texas. She received an MFA degree from NYU and started her career as an actor. Miller's Crossing was the Coen Brothers hilarious satirical tribute of the gangster film from 1990, Miller's Crossing. Although Harden appeared in movies from 1986 (in The Imagemaker, a lesser-known film The Imagemaker), she was a sexy woman in the film as her debut mainstream role. Harden's stunning portrayal of Verna who was a mysterious, beautiful moll, earned her rave reviewers. Harden also played supporting parts. Harden was the lead character in Ava Gardner, a TV biopic of Frank Sinatra.
