Audra's versatility and breadth as an artist is unmatched. Audra has been awarded the Tony Awards six times, as well as two Grammy Awards and one Emmy Award. In 2015, she was awarded a record breaking 6 Tony Awards as well as two Grammy Awards and Emmy Awards. She was also named in Time magazine among the 100 most influential people, and she was also given the National Medal of Arts - the top honor for artistic achievement in America in recognition of artistic excellence by the president Barack Obama. McDonald, who was born in Fresno California to a music family, received her training in classical singing at New York's Juilliard School. She also appeared in 2021 when she starred in a telecast with Taylor Schilling and Steven Pasquale as part of The Bite, a pandemic drama that was co-produced between Spectrum Originals and CBS Studios. McDonald was first seen in The Good Wife, a CBS show The Good Wife as a legal actress The Good Wife as U.S. attorneys Liz Lawrence and Liz Reddick between 2009 and 2018. She reprised her role (now known as Liz Reddick) in The Good Fight in the role of an Paramount+ season regular. McDonald has been nominated to win Three Critics Choice Award awards.
